Natural soft "fuzzy" nap (or suede) side of the leather on the interior.
Our handcrafted buffalo hide leather soft sole loafers are handsewn in a true moccasin style construction.
Designed for durability as well as comfort.
Genuine hand-stitched vamp, toe and heel.
Wrap around 360 degree rawhide laces to adjust fit.

After going thru a couple of pair of foreign made deerskin moccasins which I originally thought were made in Minnesota but were foreign made, I purchased a pair of wassookeag moccasins. I highly recommend them The higher price is well justified in quality and durability.

I've always found lined moccasins too warm, but these are perfect. The leather is thick enough by itself to provide good padding, and soft enough to be very comfortable. Craftsmanship is also excellent - these were made by someone who cares.

I've been wearing moccasins for almost as long as I remember, and have finally found some I can live with. No foam layers to wad up or any of that nonsense, and the size is perfect. Special size requests don't bother these folks. Don't waste money on the stuff that's handy at every tourist trap in the country. These are the ones you will wear when the others are in the dumper. I ordered on a Monday and they were here on Saturday. (slow local PO)
