Our canoe mocs are actually triple-sole moccasins, we add a third "inner-sole" between our cowhide vamp/upper (5-6 ounce) and out extra thick (8-9 ounce) bullhide outsole, with our deerskin lining you have four layers of leather between your foot and the ground.
Made in America. All Leather Canoe Sole Moccasin for Men, handsewn by skilled Maine shoemakers using a traditional true moccasin construction.
These oh so comfortable deerskin lined leather moccasins are designed for both indoor and outdoor pleasure, great as a driving moc or an everyday casual shoe. The unique deerskin lining has a soft, friendly feel that's just right for lounging after a long day at work or play, yet the durable all leather triple sole design allows for trips outside, a run to the store, or better yet, all day long.
All Wassookeag Moccasins are handcrafted and constructed one at a time with good old fashioned American Craftsmanship with antique turn of the century Singer Sewing Machines, hand cut leather, and genuine handsewn by skilled Maine Craftsmen for lasting years of wear and extraordinary comfort.

If all American made products were this good, there would be no market for cheap stuff.

Great fit, great look, very sturdy looking design. The all leather soles are beautiful, and very comfortable. Wearing mine as an all the time business casual shoe at work.

I ended up ordering the men's cowhide deerskin lined triple sole canoe moc. I've had these for approximately one month now and am very happy. I ordered them 1/2 size smaller than my usual shoe size and they came a little tight. I called and talked with Mark and he suggested I where a sock until they stretched a little which I did. They now fit like a glove. Very good quality. Love the lining. I expect they will last many years. Mark was very helpful when ordering and after they arrived. Highly recommended.

These are without a doubt the best slippers I've ever owned. They are every bit worth the price because not only are they a perfect fit for my fat 4E feet, but they are comfortable too. The quality is unsurpassed in any pair of slipper's I've ever owned. I like them so much I bought a second pair because if the first pair ever wears out (very unlikely) I want to be sure to have a replacement. Excellent!!!

Excellent quality material and craftsmanship. One thing that hasn't been pointed out in previous reviews is how warm these moccasins are due to the thickness.
Recommendation to those interested would be to spend the little bit extra for bison leather.(Have a pair of LL Bean bison single thickness driving moccasins that are very flexible leather due to the inherent properties of that type of leather.)
Only regret in purchasing these (getting more cozy every time I wear them) is that I probably won't be able to justify purchasing a replacement for these, due to their quality and durability.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wassookeag Moccasins.

The moccasins are just what I have been looking for to replace my worn elk hide ones. The deerskin lining in these really makes them and your service was first class too.

I have big wide feet 12 1/2, EEEE. I can find EEE but no 12 1/2, have to to the next whole size. I have ordered many thinking they would stretch. Nope, too tight, send them back again.
These were expensive but they fit! I can finally relax at home, who wants pinched feet?
I am very happy1

If you are looking for a good quality & good feeling moccasin, this is the place for you. This is my first pair of moccasins ever. I'm 60+ years old, a disabled vet on a limited income. My right foot is slightly bigger than my left because of water retention due to a flesh eating disease. But I always wanted a real pair of moccasins, not a factory made shoe with a hard sole. A friend told me about this company & I decided I was going to spring for a pair.
I just got mine & have them on now. They are a little snug, but I can actually feel the leather conforming to my foot contour. You want soft & comfortable, this is it. I've had hand crafted italian shoes before, & I liked them. But the waiting over 60 years & the cost was well worth it.

I've only had them for a few days, but I'm really impressed. I've been wearing moccs for quite a few years now, but was concerned that getting a low heel version was going to be a problem with my heel slipping. So far, not a problem. The hint about ordering a 1/2 size down seems to have done the trick.
Wearing them with socks at the office looks sharp and wearing them barefoot feels great.
